*Company Overview:* Omni Medical Supply is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to effectively manage financial operations.
```Responsibilities```
* *Financial Management:*
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
* Ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* *Financial Reporting:*
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
* Provide insightful analysis of financial results and variances to budget.
* *Budgeting and Forecasting:*
* Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
* Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
* *Team Leadership:*
* Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Provide training on accounting processes and procedures as needed.
* *Process Improvement:*
* Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement efficiency improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is a plus.
* Ten years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
* Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
