Part-Time Staff Accountant

Job Summary: We are looking for a PART TIME experienced, detail oriented accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions - Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks Desktop to perform accounting tasks - Prepare and collect construction related paperwork (lien waivers, sworn statements, and insurance certificates).
-Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable.
-Maintain office filing system.
Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts We offer competitive compensation.
