Senior Accountant

*Job description:* Client is Seeking a pro-active management level professional with significant experience in individual and business taxation that is seeking an ownership opportunity.
The ideal candidate possesses a CPA certificate or CPA with MST and over five years’ professional experience.
The ideal candidate will have the educational credentials and experience identified above in addition to: Proficiency with leading software systems/tools Being self-motivated to achieve personal and company set goals Ability to delegate and oversee staff effectively A naturally detail oriented professional who possesses strong organizational and work-paper skills Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS The ability to research and render pragmatic advice on tax code and regulations Membership within AICPA and state society CPA Ability to lead and work well with a team to meet critical deadlines Willing to be a point of contact for Investment Advisors that seek answers for clients Carry themselves in a meeting, with personality and character that attracts client attention and respect Compensation will include base pay, a full benefits package (including vision and dental), and vacation, 401(k) plan with company match as well as opportunities for promotion and performance bonuses.
Out of town travel (>100 miles) is expected to be rare, local travel (without overnight stays) is expected to occur at least occasionally.
