We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our Public Sector Solutions Team.
How You Will Make an Impact at Rehmann:
Opening mail and sorting invoices for accounts payable processing by location
Routing paperwork to obtain appropriate approvals
Working with department administrators and secretaries to ensure proper account coding
Entering invoices into accounting system
Responding to inquiries about payment status to vendors and internal stakeholders
Preparing payee 1099’s
Maintaining accounting records in accordance with policy and procedures
Assisting with preparation of schedules and working documents for auditors, management team, and board of directors
Interacting with clients and vendors on general business issues at a professional level
Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:
3+ years in handling the duties described above, associate’s degree preferred
Experience processing payrolls, a plus
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Proficiency with accounting software programs.
Intacct, New World, BS&A, or Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus
Ability to communicate in a professional, confident manner
Ability to adhere to timelines and expectations
Ability to handle & maintain confidential information in a secure manner
Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
