Location: Canton, MI, USA What we are looking for: Yazaki is seeking a Sr.
Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Canton, MI.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
This position is hybrid.
What you will be doing: Financial Reporting and Consolidation: Assist with consolidation and financial reporting to YIC and subsidiaries, including verifying reporting packages, reconciling intercompany transactions, and preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements and analysis.
External Auditing, Compliance, and Accounting: Assist external auditors and support audit processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal control in the finance department.
Guide on complex technical reporting/accounting issues and assist with implementing new FASB accounting pronouncement.
Subsidiary Support and Training: Record monthly accounting transactions, prepare financial statements and analyses for assigned subsidiaries, and provide training and assistance to affiliates in preparing consolidation reporting packages to meet management and YC requirements.
Other Responsibilities: Prepare third-party reporting for government and customers, assist management with department and company directives, and support ad hoc projects as directed by management.
What you will bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
