Job Summary:
As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Principle Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and track budgetary targets and financial performance metrics.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements as needed.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning.
Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities, assess risks, and optimize resource allocation.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial reporting.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making.
