To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to: Works with the Plants and Corporate operations Finance Teams with systems, process improvements, and implementation of changes.
Leads projects and team assignments for general accounting and financial analysis activities at the Corporate and/or Plant level.
Collects and analyzes consolidated and/or plant specific, product and process results and statistics.
Responsible for review and modification of internal controls Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/documents and annual budget preparation.
Also assist with financial bridge process and variance analysis.
Leads cost accounting process.
Prepare, review and maintain capital expenditure requests.
Analyzing customer pricing issues and coordinating corrective action with commercial team.
Perform new program financial tracking and analysis and work with program finance to ensure quoted margins are adhered.
Backup to Plant business analyst for labor, scrap and MRO spending and other key metrics as necessary.
Responsible for lead special projects as assigned.
Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registration (ex.
TS 16949, ISO 14001, Pentastar, etc.
).
Assist with corporate activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
Responsible for adhering to all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the office.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
Assists with the creation of acceptable standards in Finance.
This role is a part of our Finance Team and reports to the Director Finance Operations.
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Three (3) years’ experience in related financial, operational or business analysis.
Understanding of general ledger, standardized cost accounting, integration of financial and manufacturing systems; budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Basic understanding of financial and performance data.
Knowledge of QAD and One Stream is a plus.
(or similar integrated manufacturing system).
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced MS Excel.
