*Role: Accounting Manager (Construction)*

*Responsibilities:*
*ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE*
* Receive/deposit AR payments
* Process credit card/ACH payments
* Monitor customer waivers, submit total to management weekly
* Apply directed AR customer credits
* Maintain customer prequalification information and respond to requests
*ACCOUNTS PAYABLE*
* Receive AP invoices; Verify invoices against purchase orders/shippers
* Research missing purchase orders/shippers
* Post AP invoices
* Create weekly AP aging report and determine weekly invoices for payment
* Print AP checks for payments; Process AP checks for mailing
* Maintain AP files
* Calculate/submit monthly Use Tax filings
* Monthly verification of Starnet vendor invoices
*PAYROLL*
* Review weekly payroll cash requirements; fund payroll account
* Reconcile weekly payroll journals; reconcile payroll tax returns quarterly/annually
* Process 401k remittance
*BANKING*
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Submit monthly borrowing report
* Prepare monthly credit card statement
* Maintain banking relationships
*MONTH END/ANNUAL ACCOUNTING*
* Post monthly accounting entries, i.
e.
depreciation expense
* Reconcile trial balance
* Update monthly WIP report, adjust over/under billings
* Prepare workpapers for periodic and year-end review by outside CPA
* Maintain accounting for related party companies
* Maintain/update budgets
* Prepare annual gaming board certifications
* Respond to tax/audit inquiries
* Additional projects/correspondence as directed
*Requirements:*
* Consolidated financial statement experience required
* Experience within the construction industry preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry; advanced understanding of Excel
* Experience with Union Labor/Regulations
* Experience responding to or performing audits
* Ability to work well with others, but especially independently
* Strong Leadership, effective problem-solving skills
* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
* Must actively participate in a team environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Standard office working environment; occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 10 lbs.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
* At least 4-7 years of relevant experience
* Experience with Construction Accounting software (Pacific Solutions, Structure, Computer Ease) preferred
* CPA firm experience preferred
* Experience overseeing cost control systems, interpreting cost trends and developing analysis to identify trends/issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.
00 - $120,000.
