Position Summary:
100% on-site
Candidates will be responsible for general ledger and subsidiary ledgers with the assistance of the finance team; monthly close process; facilitating monthly financial meetings with key management personnel to discuss financial results; and managing outside accounting relationships with respect to audits and preparation of tax returns, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist the controller with managing all accounting operations including: A/R, A/P, GL, fixed assets, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
· Prepare weekly KPI metrics in support of company targets.
· Prepare and publish timely monthly and yearly financial statements.
· Assist with cost accounting for inventory valuation and assist with the annual physical inventory.
· Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end results versus budget / forecast.
Report and Analyze financial variances versus budget and forecast.
· Review General Ledger account reconciliations monthly.
· Assist with the development of departmental budgets and financial plans and regularly look for cost reduction opportunities.
· Assist in facilitating the annual external audit in support of the company’s financial statements.
· All other duties as required to support the company’s need for financial reporting and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
· Thorough knowledge and experience in accounting principles and procedures
· 7+ years of relevant experience preferred
· 3+ years of manufacturing business environment
· General ledger functions and the month-end/year close process
· Forecasting and budgeting
· ERP system knowledge and experience.
Epicor ERP system and/or JobBoss E2 preferred.
· Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
· Leadership, research, and analytic skills
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
Office / Manufacturing environment.
Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
This is an office-based position that requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, reading, seeing, hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
