ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Promote interaction between campers through organized games and play, encourage participation in all activities
Appropriately discipline campers as necessary and monitor/supervise campers in pool and locker room areas
Provide children ages 5 through 12 years old with a safe, fun, and caring environment
Work as a member of the staff team through open communication with Camp Director and fellow staff members and maintain a positive and helpful attitude throughout the summer
Take appropriate steps to provide a safe environment for all campers including: use of the buddy system, carrying and using first aid kit as necessary, maintaining appropriate staff to camper ratio, acting as a positive role model to campers and keeping campers in organized groups throughout the day
