Fake Postings on Housing Beware (Ann Arbor)

There are scammers claiming to be a rental property manager etc.

property owners and they are simply con artists.
They create false postings and steal previous housing post.
Then the scam begins.
THEY PREY ON THE VULNERABLE, and college students.

looking for quick housing.
.
.
.
.
.
.
then will try some scam on you for information and then of course they will take your money.
It is ts simple if they will not meet in person, redflags should go up.

make sure you verify who they are by looking at their drivers license.
when you meet .

.
Beware.

.
A good rule of thumb is if the person will not meet with you at a coffee shop etc.

or give you information on who you are talking to .
they are probably fake.
.
.
and would like to take your money,,,never send money orders, check, cash etc Sad but thieves enjoy preying on folks .

do not be one.

and good luck finding a nice room share etc.

Now most post are real but a huge percentage are fake.

This has been a national problem on craigslist.
