Move-in would be April 1st, but can be flexible! My mom just bought a house in AA and I will be moving in with her for the free rent.
We live in a duplex with 1 other unit below us (neighbors are awesome), so we are on the 2nd floor.
We are located less than 1 mile from central campus, in walking distance to Argus FarmStop, Jefferson Market, and more.
The room for rent is massive, 13 x 15 with plenty of space for a Queen or King bed, desk, dressers, etc.
There is a large closet and 2 windows in the room as well.
Living and dining room are also quite large and have 3 windows.
4 additional storage closets throughout the apartment.
There's windows and storage basically everywhere.
Duplex features a nice yard, in-unit FREE laundry, and tons of additional storage in the basement.
The Unit has a driveway and garage for parking.
You would have the whole driveway to yourself, or a spot in the garage if you want it.
I have 1 roommate who is currently a PhD student at Michigan (mid 20's).
He's the absolute best and I am sad to be leaving him.
Must be queer-friendly to live here.
He also has one cat (the litter box is in his room), so must be okay with a cat friend.
An additional pet would be fine as long as they get along.
ESA paperwork may be requested by the landlord as there is no pet rent.
Rent is $725, Utilities usually run around $80 a month (wifi & DTE).
Trash pickup, snow removal, and lawn care are handled by the landlord, who is also a homie.
The lease will run from move-in to August 15th, with the option to renew (super easy) if you want to stay.
We would prefer someone long term but are flexible.
Best deal in Ann Arbor in my opinion and would literally never leave if I didn't have a free living situation on the horizon.
