Senior Accountant Tax

JOB DESCRIPTION NSF is looking to add a Senior Accountant Tax to their growing team.
As the Senior Accountant Tax, you'll be responsible for assisting with timely completion of federal, state and local income tax returns for NSF and subsidiaries including preparation of all analysis and support, including work with outside tax firm.
They will also assist in oversight and analysis of tax compliance of the Company’s international subsidiaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in oversight and analysis of tax compliance of the Company’s international subsidiaries.
Assist in responding to audits by various taxing authorities.
Preparation of analysis in support of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) in the US and international subsidiaries.
Research and resolve all tax notices received.
Perform research on various tax positions to be taken.
Assist in monitoring of global service agreements between companies are properly documented and accounted for.
Assist the Tax Manager, Director of Tax, and CFO with tax planning projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned and support the L2 Tax Leader and CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 3-5 Years of experience along with 2+ years in public accounting Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Demonstrated ability as a self starter with the ability to make sound business decisions with minimal guidance Demonstrated experience of preparation of tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Demonstrated experience of interpretation of tax codes, compliance, and applying applicable procedures for corporations.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with outside tax preparation firms Demonstrated ability to streamline procedures and offer recommendations to improve tax preparation process efficiencies.
Demonstrated ability to present complex analysis with clarity and to work in a deadline driven environment.
High proficiency in preparing and responding to audits by organizing and reviewing documents and interacting with the auditors Preferred Qualifications: CPA preferred Experience working with Oracle and/or Hubble #LI-DNI ABOUT US NSF is a growing global public health and safety organization.
