This full-time position offers considerable potential for advancement and a significant amount of personalized on-the-job training through collaboration with our audit team.
From its inception, our firm has utilized current technology to allow our employees increased freedom in their work settings and routines.
This enables our auditors to frequently work remotely or to travel to one of our other locations to assist the team there.

Job Description
Participate in audit, review and compilation engagements from planning through issuance.
Perform audit testing procedures relevant to risk, test objectives.
Perform walkthroughs of client controls.
Develop the ability to audit areas such as cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, deferred revenue, other liabilities, payroll.
Complete audit programs.
Obtain and review evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
Prepare Form 990 returns for clients.
Perform self-review of all work prior to review by the supervisor.
Ensure adherence at all times to firm and professional standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain the minimum number of chargeable hours as set annually
Work collaboratively with our team in-person at our Centennial office 50% of the time
Qualifications
The successful and ideal candidate will possess:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA Licensure or eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam
One year of recent accounting and/or audit experience is desirable
Demonstrated skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork.
Comfort level and preference for working within a small firm environment.
Exposure to accounting for not-for-profit organizations desirable but not mandatory
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
Experience with an audit and tax software application desirable but not mandatory
Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem solving techniques
A positive attitude, outstanding client service skills, and a desire to learn and grow!

PAID TIME OFF: Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation, illness, non-firm scheduled holidays, and personal days.
Our firm does not formally track PTO or place a cap on the amount of time employees can take off.
However, all employees are expected to meet an annual minimum threshold of working hours based on their length of employment with the firm.

Starting salary is $65K-$70K, depending on experience.
